Hosted by our association, the 2024 KidWind Challenge in Asia Southern Regional Competition was successfully held at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology. The competition attracted outstanding teams from Kaohsiung, Tainan, Chiayi, and even some teams from Taipei traveled south to compete for the chance to advance to the Asia Championship.

The competition was intense, with each team showcasing impressive wind power designs and innovative technologies, earning unanimous praise from professional judges and guests present. The qualifying teams will head to the Taoyuan Arena on November 9-10 to compete in the Asia Championship, vying for a coveted spot in the global finals.

We would like to extend special thanks to the distinguished guests who offered guidance and served as judges, including President Chou Te-Kuang, Vice President Wang Chen-Chien, Dean Tsai Ming-Tsun, Director Lin Ju-Li, and Professor Chen You-Ren of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Chairman Wang Chang-Jen of the Physical Education Association of the Republic of China, President Chou Jian-Heng of the Asia-Pacific Energy & Science Education Association, Director Lin Yen-Tsen of the Sustainable Development Center at Yuda University of Science and Technology, and Cheif Judge Chen Kuan-Tse of Stark Lab, for their support and assistance in making the event a great success.
