Dear Teachers and Students,

Bridge engineering combines technology, aesthetics, and sustainability. Since its inception in 2023, the iBridge Cup Bridge Load-Bearing and Innovative Design Competition has been widely acclaimed. This year, hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering at National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology and co-organized by our association, we once again invite students nationwide to push the boundaries of engineering and creativity.

This year’s competition introduces a new challenge: the arch structure. Participants must design a bridge that is stable, aesthetically pleasing, and innovative using specified materials, and it will undergo rigorous testing with the GoDirect Structure and Material Testing Instrument. The competition evaluates both scientific load-bearing performance and innovative design concepts, fully embodying an educational spirit that balances practicality and creativity.

The event will take place at the Civil Engineering Department Building of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, providing a professional environment while fostering exchange between schools and universities, helping students develop engineering skills and a global perspective.
